Huawei Pura X View Overview
Design and Display
The biggest talking point of the Huawei Pura X View is its display. While most smartphones use conventional 19:9 or 20:9 panels, Huawei has opted for an unusually wide 16:9.5 aspect ratio.
The phone features a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 2,232 x 1,320 pixels. Huawei says the panel can reach up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness, which should provide strong outdoor visibility when viewing content under bright lighting.
The display also has a claimed 96.1% screen-to-body ratio, with extremely slim 1.05mm bezels around the panel.
Unlike the foldable Pura X, the Pura X View uses a conventional non-folding body. This makes the phone more familiar to handle while giving Huawei room to experiment with a wider screen format.
Despite its large battery, the device measures only 6.68mm thick and weighs 201 grams.
